Nice work, I had the recent epiphany to turn an old die case boba fett helmet (3/4") I had into a necklace, got any tips for wireworking, what wire I should use, tools, ect?

Thanks. ^^
Oh, that sounds really cool. Hmm, tips...
Well first, since you asked about tools, the essentials are pretty much a pair of round-nosed pliers for loops, curls, curves, and general shaping and flat pliers for holding, sharp corners, pulling, and other such things.
If you're working with color coated wire, you may want to get this stuff called "tool magic." It's a coating you put on your pliers to help keep them from scratching the finish (though if you're too rough with it they still can, and it will tear the coating over time that you'll have to reapply it).
Maybe also practice some basic techniques on some scrap wire before you start if you've never worked with wire before.
And lastly, if you're working with long pieces of very fine wire (like you're coiling it like I did here or something), keep an eye out for kinks! They'll show up everywhere, and if you don't unfold them when you spot them, they'll get pulled tighter and the wire will weaken and break! :noes: Running a pair of nylon jaw pliers over the wire to straighten it out occasionally will help keep it under control, but it's not essential.

OMG, thanks soooo much! This is all super helpful! How long have you been making this kind of stuff, out of curiosity?

Glad I could help. :)
I've tried it a few times before, but I guess I started trying to get good at it early this year?

Your stuffs so good, also my half of the art trade is like 80% done, I just have to fix a few proportional things with it (things I didn't notice until I looked at the scanned version) I think your really gonna dig it, it was so much fun!
