Crackled Watercolor Effect Tutorial

I use this technique a lot, and I've gotten quite a few questions about how I do it, so I figured I'd make a tutorial. I hope this is helpful.

So this is my first tutorial ever. It was kinda fun, and I may do another one if I decide I have anything else worth sharing. Since this is my first one though, I would like some feedback on it? I hope everything makes sense at least.

Edit: I've changed the example photo at the beginning. It now represents what this particular sheet I walked you through looks like finished. It had been a photo of a different project.
