Crackled Watercolor Effect Tutorial by ACrowsCollection Crackled Watercolor Effect Tutorial by ACrowsCollection
I use this technique a lot, and I've gotten quite a few questions about how I do it, so I figured I'd make a tutorial. I hope this is helpful.

So this is my first tutorial ever. It was kinda fun, and I may do another one if I decide I have anything else worth sharing. Since this is my first one though, I would like some feedback on it? I hope everything makes sense at least.

Edit: I've changed the example photo at the beginning. It now represents what this particular sheet I walked you through looks like finished. It had been a photo of a different project.

This is really cool! Reminds me a lot of the iridescent effect one can get with raku pottery firing.

Oh no actually the bracelet is just an example. 0_0 The colors I used in this are actually for something else I'll post soon. Maybe I should make a note of that, or update it. :dead:

Hehe... Well at least I'm not as bad a tutor with this stuff as I am at school then. Usually I just end up confusing people more! ^^'

(And by that I mean something that leaves each of us with an equal value of finished collaborative art to sell to our respective fan base.)

I love this effect! It looks like labradorite. Now to figure out if it would cost more to buy these supplies or just order a few labradorite cabochons.

Of course, if you don't want me to sell any jewelry made with this technique, I'll respect that. It would actually be a lot simpler to do a collaboration with you. (If you're ever interested in making pieces for me to wire wrap, let me know.)

Oh, no you can sell whatever you make with this! I don't own techniques, just the things I make with them. =)
A collaboration does sound fun though! I've never done one, but I always thought it looked interesting. How would it work?

Great to know! :) But I'd still love to do a collaboration with you because I probably won't be buying any supplies for polymer clay for a while.

How does this sound? You send me some pieces, I'll make jewelry out of all of them, and send some back to you. That way, we both have jewelry to sell or keep. You're welcome to use any photos I take, and we can send referrals to each other.
